Girl Strong Leadership and Mentoring Program at JJHS make presentation at Children's Policy Council Event.

On April 17, 2024, the Girl Strong program of Jasper Junior High School had the privilege of being able to make a presentation at the Children's Policy Council event for Child Abuse Awareness Month at the Walker County courthouse. Afterwards, they assisted in distributing blue ribbons and pinwheels around downtown to raise awareness.

Girl Strong is a dynamic leadership and mentoring program at Jasper Jr. High. Members convene regularly throughout the year to cultivate leadership skills, coordinate service projects, and engage in meaningful discussions aimed at enhancing our school community. In 2024 the Girl Strong program will celebrate their 10th anniversary.
