Maddox Intermediate School invites you to invest in the education of our students. MONEY DROP is an annual event that raises money for classroom supplies and technology upgrades, as well as physical education components. Our students are collecting donations from friends, family members and businesses. In previous years’, contributions have bought Smart-Boards, projectors, Elmos, and other classroom supplies. We are in the process of using last year’s contributions to create a walking track and add playground equipment to our school grounds. Due to sewer reconstruction, weather, and city regulations, we have been delayed in getting this project completed. We hope to see progress in the next coming weeks. This year, money raised will go towards enhancing student learning throughout the school building by updating technologies for each classroom, as well as addressing individual classroom needs.
Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 through individual donations and business contributions. Your donation will support the teachers and students of Maddox Intermediate School. All contributions are tax deductible. A receipt with Tax ID can be provided upon request.
**MONEY DROP will take place the week before Spring Break (March 18 – March 21)**

*Big MONEY WINNER – A group (up to 6 students from the same grade) can collect checks from individuals to win this contest. The group from each grade with the most collected money in checks will WIN a ride in Party Bus and lunch off-campus. Second place will enjoy lunch at Los Reyes, and third place will have pizza at Maddox.
Please start preparing for this AWESOME EXCITING EVENT for our students and faculty. Each grade level will begin sending home more information that relates to their specific needs and ways to participate. Please ask your student for these handouts and information.
