Entering kindergarten, moving from one school to another, and exiting high school to enter college or the work world are all  exciting, but sometimes challenging, times for students and their parents.  Through the GPS Project:  Guidance for Personal Success, we hope to provide information and tips that will make these important educational transitions easier.

Career Podcasts Created by Walker High School Students through

College Access Challenge Grant

Have you ever thought about what you want to do with your life--what field of work you want to enter?   Choosing a career and completing the education required for that career are huge tasks.

Students in Career Technical classes at Jasper High School are creating career-related podcasts with the College Access Challenge Grant Mobile Guidance Computer Laboratory.  This computer laboratory was made possible through a competitive federally-funded grant from the Alabama Department of Education.  Our collection of career podcasts will grow over time.  Feel free to check out the podcasts by clicking on the links below.
