Congratulations to Jasper High Student Kylie Pavlovec
Kylie
Pavlovec
is a sophomore at Jasper High School. She competed in the State Qualifying Event for Pharmacy Science in December earning a spot to compete at the State level. She placed 1st in the Alabama HOSA State Leadership/Competition Conference in February earning her a spot to compete at the HOSA International Leadership/Competition Conference in June. The conference was to be held in Orlando, FL at Disney, but will instead be a virtual event for safety reasons. Kylie plans to pursue a career in pharmacy. She has been influenced by her teacher Ms. Vicki Lyle.
Pharmacy Science provides members with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills required
in pharmacy

related careers.
This competitive event consists of 2 rounds. Round One is a
written, multiple choice test and the top scoring
competitors will
advance to Round Two for the
skills assessment. This event aims to inspire members to be
learn more about pharmacy careers
and practices
.
