Coronavirus and School Network Concerns
Due to coronavirus concerns, students will not be returning to school for the rest of the 2019-2020 School Year. Governor Kay Ivey issued this statement outlining alternate methods of instruction set to begin April 6, 2020. We will post additional information as it becomes available.
Please pardon our progress, we are currently upgrading our network and server systems to better protect against cyber attacks. Please follow us on the Jasper City Schools Facebook page for updates and announcements.
We urge you to stay safe by following recommendations put forth by public health officials regarding coronavirus.
Have you ever asked the question “What can I do at home to help my student?” To get answers to this question and others you may have about our school, please plan to attend our Academic Night on Thursday, September 12. At this meeting, grade level teachers will be discussing items such as: reading curriculum, math curriculum, spelling, progress monitoring data, etc. We would love for you to attend!
Some will say, I don’t have anyone to watch my student during this. That is ok, bring your student with you. We will have child care provided for any second or third grade student.
Some will say, we don’t have time to come because we have to eat dinner. Problem solved – Milo’s of Jasper will have chicken fingers and fries, free of charge, set up in our lunchroom from 5:00 – 5:30.
In other words, please plan to attend this event!!! We want you to be informed and we want to partner with our parents to make your students education the best it can possibly be. We hope to see you there!!!
