Science Classes Create Spaghetti Bridges and Water Rockets Mrs. Todd's 8th grade science classes used 2 liter bottles to create rockets propelled by water! They also made spaghetti bridges that could hold up to 80 lbs!!! Check it out! read more >>

Borders 8th Grade English Class Stages Wax Museum Beth Borders's 8th grade Adv. English class took part in a unique project recently. After reading biographies, students dressed up and became wax figures of those people. Visitors tapped the wax figures to hear their story. Click for pictures! read more >>
Black Rock Bistro's Greg Kilgore Gives MMS Cooking Tips Jasper's own culinary genius, Greg Kilgore of Black Rock Bistro, stopped by to give a cooking lesson to 6th grade home economics students this morning. Talley Wins Maddox Spelling Bee Dozens of students participated in the Maddox Spelling Bee this year. Many overcame their fears and nerves to be successful, but our ulitmate winner was 6th grader Dayton Talley (pictured left). Hayden Yerby was our runner-up. Congrats guys!
