Katie Adams, a first grader at Memorial Park, was a 3rd place winner in the Alabama State Bar's poster contest for Law Day 2015! She was recognized in a ceremony at the Alabama Supreme Court building.

On Wednesday, March 18th, LTC Ned Harrell, JROTC instructor at Walker High School, was awarded Outstanding High School Teacher of the Year for 2014-2015, by the Department of Alabama, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
